Thank you for your interest in our products. The ONLY fully “SPACE TESTED” rocket recovery system available on the market!

The 1/3N RMV has been the most popular transmitter for use in recovering rockets. It has great range for a great price and can usually be tracked for several miles under most conditions and has been tracked over 30 miles line-of-sight.

All of the transmitters are extremely rugged. Customers have been using them for rocket recovery for years now with excellent results. They've even been used to recover space launch rockets several times now.

“On May 17, 2004, our group -- the Civilian Space eXploration Team (CSXT) -- became the world’s first private entity to build and launch a rocket into space. Merlin Systems provided micro radio transmitters and telemetry tracking equipment for our historic mission. Their systems performed absolutely flawlessly and helped us quickly zero-in on the rocket’s landing point -- which was 20 miles downrange.

“Merlin Systems micro radio transmitters are lightweight, well-engineered, and extremely durable. After all, they survived a rigorous 72-mile rocket-ride into space, traveling at over 4,000 MPH -- as well as supersonic reentry through the earth’s atmosphere. If they can take all of that, they can withstand just about anything.

“For any rocketry enthusiast serious about rocket recovery, I can't imagine a better or more reliable option. I know for us, we would never think about launching a high-altitude or space-flight vehicle without a Merlin Systems micro radio tracker on board.”
